SOCCSKSARGEN Summer Safari Meetups – Day 1

I got an invitation from DavaoBloggers to attend and join a very exciting  event.

Bloggers from Cagayan de Oro, spearheaded by Chiq Montes, Kidapawan and our very own Davao by Ria Jose of Avatar Media had this lunch and get together at Ranchero Grill situated at Tiongko St. fronting Central Bank Davao, we savored every bite and enjoyed the sumptuous meal with our hearts content.

After a hearty lunch, we took a bus ride at Davao Overland Transport Terminal and we were picked up by service vehicle provided from General Santos City Mayor Pedro “Jun” Acharon, checked in Ice Castle Experience Hotel, greeted the owner Rey Billena, went to our respective rooms to freshen up getting ready for the next…

Proceeded to Pacman Sport Bar – the Pambasang Kamao and his wife Jinky sponsored the welcome and aperitif drinks and sizzling appetizers, got a tour around of their own establishment – MAN! Manny did an awesome job of investing his hard earned money.

Dinner time was waiting and my stomach was grumbling – we headed straight to Le Jardin Arnevel – Gensan’s famous catering service that humbly started as a barbecue stand and from time on gradually rose up as a fine business to meet Gensan’s needs.

Last but not the least – Piyesta and KTV and Resto Bar, serving as waitress for the night Donna Mae Congson (restaurant owner) – you must try their Crispy Tuna Buntot, Kura Sticks and others – mouth watering! Piyesta’s signature shots and drinks Jello Shots, Rhum Ice Tea  and Gayuma are sure winner (ohh boy why are the girls so pretty.. kidding I’m not intoxicated!) – goodbye stress! again,  Mayor Pedro “Jun” Acharon of General Santos City Mayor sponsored the Crispylicious and Juicy Lechon.

and of course the last leg of Dast Day 1 would not be complete without a-get-together meetups with the local bloggers from GenSan.
