I arrived in Metropolis Suites to attend the Davao Bloggers Black and White Christmas 2011, attendees were registering and slowly filling up the place.
In my case, it was different, my stomach’s acidity level was rising up, grumbling in hunger, I need to load it up a little and ordered from Cafe Aurora - Bulad Pasta – Php 160.00 and Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato – BLT – Php. 90.00.
The Bulad Pasta is something unique to me, I haven’t in my life tasted such pasta with dried fish, it has a hint of saltiness but not too over-saturated. The BLT in the other hand was served ala club house style. What was lacking though was the cheese in between the sandwich, but I don’t know of the standard serving? Does BLT have cheese in it? the bacon is somewhat soft to the bite, it could have been crisper to add some zest.
The over-all taste is passable.
